=19.5pxThis Document is based off the main introduction, and is going to focus on the Prisoner faction the most.
Let's get started.
To start off, you may be wondering where the hell you are, and what the time is, and what you are supposed to do. Right now, it is December 9th, 2001. The Combine has invaded Earth three weeks ago in November, and most people are being killed, and/or are going mentally insane. As of right now, Gordon Freeman has disappeared and is most likely unheard of, since everything was taking place during the Black Mesa incident in New Mexico. You are an American Citizen that was evacuated to Russia to regroup and form an armed assault against the Combine, but you were captured on a flight towards Novosibirsk. As people continued to rebel and keep control of the cities, the Combine flooded most of the area with a lethal Pathogen that has been undiscovered by humans and is not possible to create on Earth. As a result of this Pathogen being created, the [] was created to attempt to counter the Pathogen and keep civilians alive. A town close to Magadan (In Russia) was selected as the primary base of operations for this faction, as it was the farthest away from the Combine's reach. But within a couple of days, the information was leaked after a patrol flight was captured, and the entire base of operations was flooded. Although most people should have known about this, none of the other bases located within Russia knew about this. Due to signal being lost, the CDF would begin to send airdrops for survivors, and would hope that anyone not infected would be able to survive for awhile. Despite their efforts, everybody in the town died. The Combine had found no use for this city, due to the remoteness and distance away from other Combine controlled cities. It has been left abandoned for around a few months, before the Combine realized that weapon manufacturing was a crucial key to winning the fight against all of the rebellion. Magadan was then designated as City 92, and divided up into 15 precincts. Precincts 1, 2, 4, 5, 9, 11, 13, and 14 have been defined as unusable, and contain either nothing or a large source of the infection. Precincts 3, 7, 8, 10, 12, and 15 have been designated for storage and communication facilities. Precinct 6, the largest of all, has been designated as the main area of weapon manufacturing.
Back in time, when you were captured on your flight to Novosibirsk, you were arrested and designated as a Nova Prospekt prisoner, and would be forced to do hard labor and/or become 'unionized', or become a stalker and in time become a Combine soldier. After months of hard work and endless tasks, you have been told to get on a dropship and flown all the way to Magadan, and then dropped off within Precinct 15. Upon your arrival, you realize that your new home is an abandoned CDF barracks. Forced inside, large amounts of decontamination equipment, and even a full-scale airlock have been developed. The entire place seems to be untouched, as if no one has been able to do anything with the stuff left behind. Then, on the loudspeakers, an unfamiliar robotic voice would emanate from the newly installed speakers.
"Attention Precinct 6, move to Warehouse 2 immediately for your daily workcycle." Hundreds of people wearing bright orange uniforms would march out from the barrack halls, and on towards the old road, and would begin their march to the factory.
There would be two buildings upon arriving at the factory site. One of the large warehouses appears to look abandoned, and is covered in graffiti and overall looks terrible. And beside it would be an enormous Combine factory that would reach high into the sky, elevating at unknown altitudes. Nova Prospekt guards would be patrolling, as well as soldiers wearing green combat uniforms. To your surprise, there appears to be no Metropolice at all. That is because this weapon factory is top-secret, and cannot be potentially spilled. Also, the risk level is much higher than an average citizen.
Upon walking into the Combine building, loads of bright lights and switches would flicker in random patterns, and a blue hue would fill the room. You would then be forced into a pod and taken to a higher floor, where you would be forced to produce weapons you have never seen before. These weapons would look similar to normal weapons, but would have Combine modifications, to make them extremely more powerful. The 'V592' logo would be imprinted on every single gun. Unfortunately, firing these weapons requires a special haptic glove, and a special Combine battery, that enables the weapon. Getting the gloves and the battery shouldn't be too hard, but getting the actual gun out? Good luck. The weapons that are mainly produced by un-trusted prisoners are typically a lot more bulkier. But, as your trust and loyalty is increased, more finer and more complicated weapons can be unlocked for production.
A long day of work is complete. Your stomach growls, and you wonder, 'Where are the rations?' Well, there are no rations. In fact, if you do not work during the designated workshifts, you will be unable to afford food, and will die. For each weapon that is produced, you will be given a set amount of money that increases in increments. For example, if you complete one weapon, you only receive 5 credits. But, if you complete 5 weapons, you will get 35 credits, because the money you get increases by an increment of 1. So, 5 + 6 + 7 + 8 + 9 = 35. That seems like a good deal, but food is at an extremely high cost. Some food items can reach up to 300 credits, and that is only for one item. Making sure to sustain yourself is especially important, because if you die, you die.
"Hold on, what do you mean 'If you die, I die.' ?" In this server, if you die no matter what, you will drop everything you have. Now, this seems like an extremely over the top cruel punishment, but it really is not. The reason why I created this system is because it will create fear. Just how your character should fear for their life ICly, you will OOCly fear for your items, which accurately represents the IC fear that you should have. So, if you are rich, or have extremely valuable items, you probably shouldn't be roaming in dangerous areas because you could die. Also, it is ICly allowed for you to 'RDM' someone because in this case, everyone is a prisoner that has worked so hard, they are most likely mentally destroyed.
